We encounter plastic every day and many industries would be unimaginable without it. Cars, fashion or medicine - everyday life without plastic is hard to imagine.

It's more durable than many people think. It consumes little energy in production and is therefore both efficient and versatile. There are few alternatives to plastic products, as they pollute the environment much more during production. Thermoplastics are almost 100% recyclable. The scraps are crushed and some of them are mixed with new plastic pellets in the form of granules.
